The Sonnenalp swimming school offers individual lessons for children and adults. Our swimming trainers are happy to take the exam for all swimming badges.

With the acquisition of the swimming badge, the skills and knowledge of a safe swimmer are queried. The acquisition of the German swimming badge - bronze (free swimmer) consists of a theoretical and practical test. The theoretical test includes knowledge of bathing rules. In the practical test, there is a headfirst jump from the edge of the pool and a 15-minute swim. During this time, at least 200 m must be covered, of which 150 m lying on the stomach or back in a recognizable swimming style and 50 m in the other lying position. 2 meter dive with object retrieval and a packet jump from the starting block or 1 meter board.

In the practical test, there is a headfirst jump from the edge of the pool and a 30-minute swim. During this time, at least 800 meters must be covered, of which 650 meters in prone or supine position in a recognizable swimming style and 150 meters in the other position as well as a starting jump and 25 meters freestyle swimming, 50 meters breaststroke in a maximum of 75 seconds, 50 meters backstroke with straddle swing without Arm activity or back crawl swimming, 10 meter distance diving from the swimming position, three times approx. 2 m deep diving from the water surface with retrieval of an object within 3 minutes each, a jump from 3 meters height or 2 different jumps from 1 meter height as well as 50 meters transport swimming.
